Mounts in wood or hollow metal jambs or doors. To be used with mortise type locks.

Faceplate size: 1 1/4"W x 4 7/8"H

Fail safe version locks when power is applied and unlocks when power is removed.

Non-Fail safe version unlocks when power is applied and locks when power is removed.

7170 Electric Strikes with 4-7/8" [123.8 mm] faceplates are designed for use with mortise or cylindrical type locksets with up to 3/4" [19.1 mm] latchbolt projection without deadbolt.
