Hager Electric Hinges BB1279 ETW-4

Electric hinges proved a means of transferring power from the frame to electric locks or exit bars installed in the door. Concealed wires provided higher security and resistance from tampering compared to use of exposed transfer cords.

• The ETW is a through-wire hinge which provides continuous electric conductors for transfer of current or signals from frame to door.
• 28 gauge wire is used.
• Hinge pins are not field removable.
• 4,6,8, or 10 wire, (price is for a 4 wire hinge).
